Rejected Memoirs uses a paragraph format to display a memoir of you or your character's life. Your submission should be exactly 100 words. Say anything you like as long as it includes an ending you perceive as "unhappy."
EXAMPLE:
If you were to ask Melissa Leary at age seven what she wanted to be when she grew up she would respond, “a dancer.” The sprightly young girl would spend many hours of the night meticulously studying videos of Prabhu Deva and Jenna Dewan so she could mimic the graceful movements of hips and slender legs. Her friends and family knew that she had what it took. “Don’t forget about us when you’re famous,” they’d joke. If you were to ask Melissa Leary at age nineteen what she wanted to be when she grew up she would respond, “to walk again.”
